M/Y Odessa – The World Superyacht Awards 2010 finalist for Best Displacement Motor yacht below 500GT
M/Y Odessa is an outstanding black and silver yacht manufactured by Christensen Shipyards in 2009. With a length of 48.77meters, the superyacht was recently honored with the World Superyacht Awards 2010 finalist for Best Displacement Motor yacht below 500GT.
Offered at the Sacks Group Yachting Professionals for charter, the yacht is expected to give its guest a world class charter vacationing experience. The Christensen Shipyards’ yacht will be available for charters in the Bahamas, where it is presently cruising for the winter season. The yacht has already been reserved for a period of three week for July 2010. For the summers, it will be available for charter in the Western Mediterranean.
Close to 12 people can sleep in the vessel, which has six opulent staterooms with iPod docks and Kaleidescape entertainment system installed for the relaxation of the guests. Armani Casa is responsible for designing the elegant interiors of the motoryacht and making them appear urban, well-structured and thoughtful. According to Captain Lowden, the yacht consists of an elevator to reach all the decks and a hot tub to accommodate 12 persons. There is also an exterior BBQ and a 50 inch plasma which allows viewing sports from the flybridge during the day and open-air movies at night. The guest rooms are all equipped with call buttons on the television remotes that the guests can use to text the crew members.
For all the guests, it is likely to be an exciting time whether it is the interiors or exteriors. Moreover, the designers have also considered designing areas for a 10 member crew besides the guests. Easy accessibility of the wine and beverage storage with enhanced volume at several points on the vessel was also kept in mind.
All the admirers of Odessa can get the look of the beauty at the Christensen Shipyards display at the Yacht & Brokerage Show from 11th -15th February at the Miami Beach.
