Fairline Announces 50ft Targa Launch

During this year’s Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show, luxury motor yacht manufacturer Fairline Boats announced plans to release a new addition to the Targa express cruiser range. The new Targa 50 GRAN TURISMO will be launched in late 2010 and her first show debut is to be at the London International Boat Show 2011.

According to the announcement: “The development of the Targa 50 GRAN TURISMO follows the world launch of the all-new Targa 58 GRAN TURISMO at the London International Boat Show this month. The spacious three cabin, two en-suite Targa 50 GRAN TURISMO with optional fourth-crew cabin is the latest evolution of the Targa express cruiser design and will include many of the features and interior layout introduced on the Targa 58 GRAN TURISMO.”

“Key features include panoramic windows and extensive glazing throughout the Targa 50 GRAN TURISMO to provide light-filled accommodation. A large master cabin and en-suite will be placed forward with only the foredeck above, allowing natural daylight to flood through overhead glazing.”

“Owners will also be able to transform the single level living and galley space aboard the Targa 50 GRAN TURISMO into an open-air space. The powered roof can open along with a top-hinged window to open up the galley area for al-fresco serving.”

“Other significant features which will be available include a concealed mechanised tender launch for a Williams 325 Jet RIB to provide a safe, clean and open transom. A powered aft sunshade option will provide protection for the sociable and aft cockpit seating, which also converts into a sunpad, offering owners increased flexibility.”
